Dr. Ayman Mokhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, received today, Thursday, Dr. Talaat Abdel Qawi, President of the General Federation of NGOs and Foundations, Member of Parliament and Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue, and Dr. Simon Abdel Nasser, Head of the Technical Sector at Hayah Karima Foundation and Member of the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work, in the presence of MP Dr. Nasreen Salah Omar, MP Dr. Shaimaa Mahmoud Nabih, and MP El-Sayed Waheed Fouda, members of the House of Representatives in Dakahlia, Dr. Wael Abdel Aziz, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Dakahlia, Counselor Zaher Mustafa, President of the Regional Federation of NGOs, heads of NGOs and Foundations, undersecretaries of the Ministry, directors of service directorates in Dakahlia, representatives of Al-Azhar, the Ministry of Endowments and the Church in the governorate, representatives of NGOs and those interested in public work in Dakahlia.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In this context, the Governor of Dakahlia and the governorate\u2019s guests attended the opening session of the national dialogue on the role of civil society organizations and the population issue.<\/span><\/p>

In his speech during the opening session of the conference, \u201cMukhtar\u201d praised the role of the General Union of Civil Associations and Institutions and the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work, their tours in the governorates and their participation in activating the national dialogue.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cMokhtar\u201d added that the aim of the conference is to convey the proposals and opinions of those interested in public work and civil society to the National Dialogue Administration, stressing that civil society is an important factor in building the Egyptian state, and there is no way to move to the new republic without the effective and fundamental participation of civil society.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDr. Talaat Abdel Qawi, President of the General Federation of NGOs, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ayman Mokhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, for his keen interest, support and active participation in the National Dialogue session of the General Federation of NGOs. The President of the General Federation of NGOs explained that since the launch of the work of the National Dialogue Secretariat, we have received more than 96,000 requests and proposals related to many societal issues.\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The head of the union spoke about the main axes of the national dialogue and summarized them in three axes, which included the political, economic and social axis, and the role that the union plays in addressing all issues related to these axes through meetings and conferences in the governorates to formulate demands and proposals and convey them to the secretariat of the national dialogue to study them and take what is necessary regarding them in order to work on achieving what the citizen demands and what he hopes to achieve in the future.<\/span><\/p>

In the same context, Dr. Simone Abdel Nasser, a member of the National Alliance for Civil and Development Work, said that the alliance, through the participation of 24 civil institutions and associations, is implementing initiatives that contribute to easing the burden on the most needy citizens in the villages of the governorates, pointing to what was recently implemented in the villages of Sinbillawin in Dakahlia, and what will be implemented in the future in order to provide various services to the most needy families.<\/span><\/p>

At the end of the conference, many discussions and dialogues took place regarding all aspects of the national dialogue in the economic, social and political axes, and identifying different opinions and ideas to convey them to the secretariat of the national dialogue.<\/span><\/p>

This came within the framework of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi\u2019s assignment to the National Youth Conference (which is being organized under the umbrella of the National Training Academy) \u2013 during the Egyptian Family Iftar \u2013 to coordinate with all currents and groups of society to manage a national dialogue on the priorities of national work during the current stage.<\/span><\/p>

The Scientific Society participated in the event, and the President of the Scientific Society for Applied Studies and Research, Dr. Ehab Al-Mutawalli, stressed the importance of effective participation through civil society organizations in the population issue and family planning, noting that civil society organizations always work to achieve balance in all services provided to citizens in all cultural, scientific, social and health fields.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
